Initial Ideas

There are 3 initial ideas that I am thinking about doing for my EPQ. Whilst they are quite similar in genre. There is a large difference in the whole production of each as they are aimed at completely different audiences and will have to made with ceratin aspects in mind.
IDEA 1

To design and make a 6-8 minute informative video on the fish, invertebrate and corals as well as a 'behind the glass' section on the Blue reef aquarium in hastings. The video would be displayed on a screen in the blue reef next to the coral reef display tank. Users can freely select the section they want to learn about and each will probide informative, aesthetically pleasing visuals that relate to the habitants of the tank infront of them, providing a refreshing, interative alternative to the common immobile information plaques.
IDEA 2
To design and make a 6-8 minute informative video on the fish, invertebrate and corals as well as a 'behind the glass' section on the London Sea Life aquarium. The video would be displayed on a screen in the sealife aquarium next to the coral reef display tank. Users can freely select the section they want to learn about and each will probide informative, aesthetically pleasing visuals that relate to the habitants of the tank infront of them, providing a refreshing, interative alternative to the common immobile information plaques. This will be aimed at a completely different audience to idea one due to ocation and size of business.
IDEA 3

Marine habitit is a British reef keeping magazine aimed at the international market for aquaria hobbiests. The magazine releases an issue every 2 months and charges £2.75 for each print. As part of this idea I will have to design an make a  DVD in an apporopriate format to be placed in the cover of an issue of the Marine habititat magazine. The DVD should be an information video aimed a the experienced hobbiests who are interested in such a product. The video will provide information on fish, invertebrate and corals as well as a 'behind the glass' section on a reef tank from either The Blue Reef Aquarium of the London Sea Life Aquarium. This will also involve the design of the front of the magazine as well as packaging for the DVD.
